Oceanways Prescription Optical Lenses for the Explorer Mask
Snorkeling and scuba diving are both sports based on your ability to see all the great reef creatures and beautiful underwater corals.
If you need to use glasses or contacts on land to enjoy the beauty around you, then we would strongly recommend that you put optical lenses in your mask. From Clownfish to the brilliant colors of the reef, everything is wasted if you cannot see them clearly. Not to mention getting in and out of the Ocean can be very challenging if you can’t see what’s going on around you. The prescription lenses will bring everything into focus.
If you use glasses or contacts on land, then we would strongly recommend that you put optical lenses in your mask. Optical lenses are available for the Oceanways Explorer 2 Mask starting at -1.5 diopters, increasing at half diopters all the way through -8.0. When choosing diopters, if your prescription does not exactly match the diopters available, it is better to go with a lower number diopter then a higher diopter. Your prescription is not required. It is best to order optics when originally ordering the mask so that they can be professionally installed and tested for water tightness.
A single lens may be purchased. | More from Oceanways:See the complete collection of Oceanways Scuba Gear. To view all of the Masks by Oceanways visit Oceanways Masks. For more products related to Scuba Masks see Oceanways Scuba Masks.
