They hold more cubic ft. of air in a smaller diving tank, increasing your bottom time, and more negative bouyancy is obtained due to the increased weight of the tank. The phosphatized internal coating of these scuba diving tanks is highly resistant to rust when properly maintained, and should last longer than aluminum tanks.
