OTS Buddy Phone Transceiver

The SCU-BUD Buddy Phone transceiver has been specifically designed as an acoustic underwater telephone to be used with a Scuba Pro full face mask. It uses ultrasonic, upper single sideband for transmission. The diver utilizes his own 2nd stage regulator. The SCU-BUD comes complete with the Scuba Pro adapter com-plug that easily installs onto the Scuba Pro full face mask.
The com-plug has a Push-to-talk control and patented HotMic incorporated. The Buddy Phone transceiver simply installs onto the full face masks head strap. When the diver enters the water, the SCU-BUD powers up and cycles to the receive mode - ready to receive a message. When the diver/s want to transmit, they simply depress the PTT button located on the com-plug and talk. All divers and/or surface stations within range and on the same frequency will hear the message. |
